Yamaha SR400. New 2015 model. Excellent condition. Tastefully given a scrambler make-over to include: - Professionally made one-off high-level exhaust, with exhaust wrap surround (by So Low Choppers, Stanton) and heat shield - New front mudguard (from Two Hands Motorcycles, Germany) - New chain guard (from Two Hands Motorcycles, Germany) - Remodelled seat and seat cover - New rear mudguard / rear end (from Webike, Japan) - New scrambler-style handlebars - Chunky off-road style tyres All original parts available and in excellent, like-new condition (front and rear mudguard, handlebars, exhaust, tyres), so can also be put back to original specification (save for the seat which has been remodelled). The weight saving and the high-level exhaust make this a little quicker than the standard specification bike. It looks and sounds great and gets lots of admiring glances and comments. The bike was registered new on 1 September 2015 and has one previous owner. It should therefore have a year's warranty remaining, and not require an MOT until September 2018. I have both keys and all the supporting documentation. The bike is in all round excellent condition, and has covered just 2,010 miles from new (though this might go up slightly if the weather stays nice!). It doesn't go out in the rain! It was last serviced at 1,244 miles on 7 November 2015. These bikes are described as "plenty of period style, tediously reliable, amazingly easy to ride and will probably run forever" (Bike magazine, October 2016). The bike has a datatag pack. The opportunities for further conversion are almost endless, and I was surprised how easy it was to buy the right parts from overseas. The bike and conversion costs came in well over £5k, but I'm looking for offers around £4,450, which is a really good price. I could sell slightly cheaper if the original parts aren't wanted.
